I am really looking forward to seeing many of you for Ingathering Sunday this weekend. There is something so powerful about being together “in one strong body” — as we sometimes sing in an opening hymn — and enacting cherished rituals: lighting the chalice, singing together, mingling waters for our Water Communion. Come one, come all to kick off the new church year together this Sunday morning at our annual Ingathering! Children and youth will begin in worship right at 10am and stay through the Water Ritual, and then they will recess to some fun field day activities to reconnect and celebrate the new church program year together. All ages are encouraged to attend, and the nursery will be open for drop off at 9:45am if you would prefer any littles to start off there instead of worship.

Many of the programs we offer are starting up this month again after a summer hiatus. Check out our webpage for children and youth programs, and our adult programs page for all the details. 

Sunday evening meditations will reboot on September 15th, as well as our Youth Group, open to all youth in the community, grades 8-12. Finally, we are planning to offer both K-1st and 4-5th grade OWL classes beginning in October or when enrollment reaches capacity.

Please help spread the word by forwarding the links for any of these programs and by forwarding these two digital flyers to local friends with children who may be interested in either of the OWL classes we plan to offer, or any of our more traditional Sunday faith development programming for children and youth, as well. All of our programming is open to the public.
