SNM 2021 Appreciation Awards
There are many ways that we all enjoy playing tennis from drop-ins, inter-club exchanges, tournaments, league play, organized groups and more. Behind every opportunity to play, even for drop-in tennis, someone made it happen, whether it was sending out a newsletter, email, arranging for the courts, captaining a team, etc. Now you have an opportunity to say thank you and to recognize these individuals and organizations. An email from the USTA Southwest Section, with a simple on-line form to fill-out, was sent out October 14. The recognition categories for 2021 are Adult Player of the Year, Community Tennis Volunteer of the Year, Organization of the Year, League Captain of the Year, and Female Junior Player and Male Junior Player of the Year. Submissions are due by November 15. The Recognition committee will review the submissions. The awards will be announced in the December Newsletter.
