Just a reminder that we will be meeting this Thursday October 11 from 5:30-6:30 for a tour of the LEED Gold Texas A&M Galveston Ocean + Coastal Studies building, located on Pelican Island. The WHR project architect and facilities manager will be on hand to lead the tour and answer any questions. You can read an article from the architect discussing the building here. This is a wonderful opportunity to see an example of sustainable building right here on the island!
We will meet outside of the building tomorrow at 5:30 (map below), and look forward to seeing you all on the island!
