USF students contribute to mass casualty incident training

COPH students played an integral role in a Mass Casualty Incident Training course hosted at the USF Health Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation from April 3-4.

USF is home to nearly two dozen graduate programs considered among the best in America, according to new rankings released today by U.S. News & World Report. USF features 23 graduate programs ranked inside the top 100 among all public and private institutions, including 11 ranked in the top 50.

COPH f aculty recognized as top 2% of researchers

COPH faculty are among 164 USF faculty members recognized as the Top 2% of researchers in their field by Stanford’s annual ranking based on citations during calendar year 2022.

Public health mentee earns 2024 Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship

Public health mentee James Ocean was awarded a 2024 Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship. The fellowship supports outstanding immigrants and children of immigrants who are pursuing graduate education in the United States.

From tragedy to triumph: One alum’s path to the U.S. Army

COPH alumna Emanuelle Dias is a proud native Floridian who grew up in South Florida. When she was 14 years old, her mother passed away from breast cancer which inspired her healing journey through education, research and cancer prevention.
