Do you want to purchase a home with acreage that is located in a county that is eligible for USDA mortgages?
Are you aware that there are 2 different ways that USDA mortgages can add closing costs?
It sounds too good to be true! It's not!
1. If the home appraises for 102% or more of the purchase price the buyer can choose to add 2% to the purchase price to pay for closing costs. No DPA required!
B. If the home appraises for the purchase price and the buyer meets the DPA Advantage program, has a middle credit score of 640 or higher and meets USDA income guidelines. This program will pay up to 3.5% of the appraised value that the buyer can use to cover their closing costs!
