SAVE THE DATE! The organizing committee of the 29th Annual Symposium of the U.S. Chapter of the International Association of Landscape Ecologists invites you to the 2014 Annual Symposium to be held in Anchorage, Alaska, May 18-22, 2014. This will be the first time Alaska has been the host of a US-IALE Symposium and we hope you'll join us and experience our diverse landscape. Alaska is the land of extremes and has a unique cultural component to their landscapes. 

Call for Presentation Abstracts
The call-for-presentation online submission form is available! Submit your presentation abstract by February 1st to be considered. 
  • Presentations will be accepted until February 1, 2014.
  • Notification of acceptance will be sent by email by February 14, 2014.
  • The call-for-presentations submission will need to include: Title of Presentation, Authors and Affiliation, Abstract (up to 250 words), Topic Area (that best matches your research focus), Keywords (up to 5), and whether it's an oral presenation, poster or part of a symposium.

  • Registration: Presenting authors must register and pay to attend the conference. A separate online registration form will be available via the symposium website.
