US GHG Center Newsletter

Volume 1, Issue 1

Welcome!

This is the first edition of the U.S. Greenhouse Gas Center newsletter. The US GHG Center is a multi-agency effort consolidating greenhouse gas (GHG) information from observations and models. Scientific experts from NASA, EPA, NIST, and NOAA worked together to curate this catalog of GHG datasets and analysis tools. The goal is to better understand GHG fluxes and emissions from natural and human-caused sources. The US GHG Center helps researchers, climate change mitigation practitioners, policymakers, data service providers, and concerned citizens understand GHG datasets and put them to use.

The US GHG Center is in its beta phase of development and is always evolving with new data, capabilities, and information. We hope this newsletter brings you information you can use on the latest opportunities, news, available training, and workshops offered by the US GHG Center.

What's New?

Funding Opportunity

A grant opportunity for scientists based at Minority Serving Institutions to work with the US GHG Center is open until May 20, 2024. This effort is part of NASA and the US GHG Center's ongoing efforts to broaden and diversify its community.
