The Friends of Chabot held its 9th Annual Gala on Thursday, October 12th at TPC Stonebrae. It was a sold-out event with 150 district, college, business, and community leaders in attendance. Many thanks to all those who attended, donated auction items, made contributions, or lent words of support.

Flea Market Fundraiser Success | | |

On September 16, the Alumni & Friends hosted a booth at the Chabot College Flea Market. Thanks to your generous donations, we raised over $500! All funds raised will support future Alumni & Friends events, and remaining clothing items were donated to Chabot College students.
A special thank you to our extraordinary Flea Market donors, prep team, and volunteers, including: Troy Beard, Linda Emanuele, Megan Jensen, Jean Lee, Andrew Leung, Patrick Mwamba, Anamarie Navarro Tabujara, Liz Oteyza, Paul Pinza, Sarah Renton, Ulyssa Rivas, Cresali Roldan-Sun, and Rachael Tupper-Eoff.

On September 29, your Gladiators volunteered at the City of Hayward Mariachi Festival. Many thanks to Chabot College Spanish Faculty and Hayward Councilman, Francisco Zermeno, for supporting this event.
Also, a couple of Men's Basketball Gladiators participated in a social justice interview with Golden State Warriors Forward, Kevon Looney!

Rave Reviews for Broadway's Best | |

On October 1, Bay Area Philharmonic brought Broadway's Best to Chabot College for an incredible performance. The rave reviews, electric atmosphere, and fantastic crowd of 1,200 made for a memorable experience. Over $1,200 in proceeds from beer - featuring brews sponsored by Dokkaebier - and wine sales will go to support the Friends of Chabot foundation events, scholarships and mini-grants.
