Catered dinner at 6:30 pm at the tournament site Hospitality tent
Dinner Costs $8 (Nebraska Barons will subsidize the remaining dinner cost). Tickets must be purchased in advance
Menu: Grilled (on-site) chicken breast sandwiches and hamburgers, Bacon Ranch Potato Salad, White Cheddar Mac & Cheese, baked beans, chips, soda & water. Catered by Hy-Vee Grocery Stores
Anyone can also bring their own food and drink and participate in the social activities.
At 7:15, an awards program will feature all-tournament team announcements, Hall of Fame inductions, team trophy presentations, music, and more.
Anyone can attend the Awards presentations WITHOUT attending/buying the catered dinner.
Following that will be DJ music and social time

If you are a NEW player OR your NWBA or USQRA classification has changed (up or down), please complete this brief "Classification Needed" online form and register here to plan to see the tournament Classifiers. Tournament classification will be held at the Hospitality tent at the tournament site on Wednesday, Aug 14, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. New players must be classified BEFORE they play or risk facing the sanctions listed below. If you played in the 2022 or 2023 Wheelchair Softball World Series, you probably already have an approved classification to play in 2024. Please verify with your team managers that they have your proper classification for use in this tournament.

Team managers are responsible for ensuring that rostered players playing in the tournament have accurate classification information for each player on their team and accurately listing that classification on all tournament game rosters in scorebooks and other roster cards.

Unintentional and intentional misrepresentation of classification by players, coaches, or team staff may result in forfeiture of games played by the misclassified players and player, coach, or Team Staff suspension from NWSA/USA Wheelchair Softball activities and games.

Storage units 8' x 16' are available for rental during the tournament for $200

Teams can rent storage containers ( 8 ft x 16 ft) for $200 during the tournament to store team equipment and other items. The units will be available from Tuesday, Aug. 13, through Sunday, Aug. 18. You must provide your lock. Sponsored by Units Portable Storage Containers.

General membership meeting on Wednesday night, Aug 15, 7:30 pm - All welcome

The meeting will be held in the hospitality tent at the tournament site, 26001 Ida Street, Valley, NE. The Board of Directors, Commissioner, and 2024 IWSWS Tournament Director will present information and items of interest to members. All teams should have an appointed representative present to vote on business matters and convey important information to their members. A meeting agenda will be distributed before the meeting.

Everyone is welcome, but please have one voting representative from your team prepared to vote on business matters presented at the meeting.

World Series Tournament General Meeting will be held virtually to ensure all those still traveling can attend and participate in the meeting! Details are also being sent out to Team Reps and will be posted to the website. Please reach out with any questions. See you all soon!
