Join us at Rutland Senior Secondary in Empowering Future Leaders: Sponsor the British Columbia Student Leadership Conference


The BCSLC is an annual conference that aims to empower and inspire young leaders. In an effort to keep the public and business community informed on the economy of the region, the COEDC releases the publicly available quarterly Economic Indicators Report highlighting key economic data for the Central Okanagan.


The Q2 2023 Economic Indicators report includes cumulative statistics for 9 key economic indicators for April through June 2023.


The Job Market Indicators report, first released in 2021, provides a snapshot of the Central Okanagan's labour force and job market through data collected from Vicinity Jobs, a real-time labour market information technology platform.

Central Okanagan Local Immigration Partnership Hosting Session

A number of organizations including the WorkBC Kelowna, KCR Kelowna Community Resources and the Kelowna Chamber are teaming up to host a two hour workshop to help employers understand the opportunities and challenges related to hiring new immigrants. On Tues. 12 Sept. from 2:00-3:30pm at Accelerate Okanagan, current employers and new immigrants already in the workforce will share their experiences and you will gain a better understanding of how to build welcoming and inclusive workplaces.
