UPK KEY DATES
May 27: JI Offices will be closed for Memorial Day
Now until July 1: JI is reaching out to families who do not have matches to help them add choices
July 5: The second and final algorithm runs
July 6–22: Provider review period
July 23–July 30: Families are notified of second-round matches and must accept or decline
August 1: Direct placement begins

Providers can request seat increases/decreases at any time by contacting Noreen at nglt@mac.com.
QUALITY STANDARDS ROUNDTABLE
JI will host two Roundtables on the UPK Quality Standards on Wednesday, May 29th, at 1:00 pm and 6:00 p.m. Please submit your questions ahead of time to be sure that your questions are answered during the Roundtable! The UPK Quality Standards have been finalized and can be found on the UPK Info Hub, along with all previous Roundtable information. Roundtable recordings are available on JI's YouTube channel.

UPK OUTREACH EVENTS
JI will be attending and hosting several community events in June and July where families can register for UPK on-site. Look for these events to be posted on JI's Community Family Calendar and the UPK Info Hub soon. We'll also share them in upcoming UPK newsletters.
REMINDER TO FAMILIES
Families only need to complete ONE UPK application per child for the 2024-25 year. If you need to make changes or are having trouble logging into your original application to make changes, please contact UPK@jointinitiatives.org. Do NOT create a second application.
