Hello! New trainings on the spring calendar for animal responders, emergency managers, firefighters, SAR and others!

HALTER Project is pleased to be partnering with elite training resources, including Code 3 Associates, AnimalDecon.com, and ResQFAST, to bring new and important training opportunities to Northern California.

If you are not interested in training, please consider passing this along to someone you think might be. And, visit our HALTERproject.org for Preparedness Resource updates.

If you belong to any of the professions or groups listed above, you will receive scholarships for any and all classes you’d like to attend. You need not fill out a scholarship form for each training; simply list all the classes you’ve registered for on one form.

To request a scholarship;

2. Fill out the HALTER Scholarship Request Form

You’ll receive a confirmation that will be forwarded to the instructor of each course.

We’re asking for your help to let others know about these important opportunities. Please share, appropriately, to colleagues, agencies and friends.

***Due to COVID restrictions, the FEMA Hazwoper-Animal Decontamination class size is very limited. We will have a waitlist in case COVID restrictions ease and we are able to have more students attend.

*** A limited number of “Observers” will be allowed at the ASAR Water Rescue trainings.

These will be restricted to firefighters, SAR, veterinarians and ACOs who do not have SWR certification. To request an “Observer” spot, please contact Julie directly at Rescue@Halterfund.org 

We’re excited to bring these trainings to Northern California and to support attendance through scholarships. We know it’s tough to break away or get time off, especially for veterinarians.

But — these are vital training for FEMA Typed Resources that fill critical needs during disasters.
