Minnesota Chapter
This year was quite interesting. We celebrated each other's birthday for self-care that was enriching. We were filled with several members that were sick and our team contributed for the members so they stay current following the theme of no sister left behind. OPSANs came together for the graduation of my Son Eta.
Our biggest come together was in the celebration of thanksgiving of Ma Caroline Mbuagbor, where everyone showed their support in terms of monetary, food supply and just giving thanks showing love and that when you are down OPSANs lift up. We didn't do too many formal meetings but we showed up in support of one another. We are rounding the year by supporting Pamela Agbor whose daughter is getting married.
In-person meetings start February 2022.
Our spirit of love, peace, unity above all no sister left behind continues.

Silver Spring Chapter
UOPSA Silver Spring chapter is made up of proud OPSANS who fondly call themselves, “Springers” or “Undauntable Queens”. Made up of twenty-nine (29) dynamic ladies who are very active in their chapter and National matters of the association, OPSA Silver Spring members want to remain engaged and keep abreast on the progress of their Alma Mater (QRC Okoyong) and the Past Students’ Association (OPSA), thus being able to give back to our Alma Mater and ourselves to whatever degree we are comfortable.
Much has not happened in UOPSA Silver Spring since October 2021 when the school feast and In - person and Zoom Convention were celebrated. The first meeting of the year is scheduled by zoom for 01/22/2022 and members look forward to it. Undauntable queens are determined to have a different look at approach on running of activities or running the group this 2022.
Though some members have experienced some bereavements, the chapter marked two happy events; one of a member’s son who celebrated Holy Matrimony in Douala, Cameroon, and another member whose mom celebrated her 85th birthday in Bonamoussadi, Douala. Glory to God.
We are thankful to God for keeping us safe, despite the Pandemic.
Long Live UOPSA Silver Spring
Long live UOPSA USA Inc.

New England Chapter
Heart and Hands, together!
UOPSA New England is grateful to the almighty God for carrying us through the year 2021. The effects of the 2020 pandemic were still prevalent in the New England territory in 2021 making it a very challenging year for us, such that New England Queens could not play Host to the 2021 Annual Convention as eagerly anticipated.
Nevertheless, we supported each other in sisterly love for those that were sick, hospitalized as well as those that were bereaved. We didn't just remain on the gloomy side of life but we were able to celebrate each sister's birthday accordingly, either with a Mass service or a bouquet of fresh flowers or the church parish building project contribution as well as creative photos or videos and best wishes on the chat forum. We also had a surprise wellness and birthday visit by a select group of representatives to one of our sisters and our OPSAN husband. Few celebrations were channeled to our children's graduations, one of our sister's virtual dedication as an Elder in her church community and another sister's traditional wedding with a pump.
Although we closed out in 2021 with two of our sisters losing their very close relatives and a spike of the COVID-19, we look forward to 2022 with great expectations.
Long live United OPSA USA!
Long live UOPSA New England!

West Coast Chapter
This past year has been a challenging one for our chapter with many ups and downs. We experienced loss as a chapter, but also some joyous moments/celebrations and tremendous growth. We made forever memories by engaging in new experiences such as our chapter trip to Tacoma. Our chapter remained committed in our goals, meetings, and gatherings. We are closing this year stronger as a chapter and sisterhood.
Our Goals for 2022 are to continue our membership drive, perform more outreach, expand our chapter with the focus on our theme of “no sister left behind.” We will continue preparations for the upcoming convention in the Bay Area. It is our hope to share some of the bliss and wonder of these incredible chapter with all of our sisters.

New York Chapter
Greetings Queens! The Big Apple Queens continue to lead UOPSA-USA with the most registered members. 2021 came with its challenges as members carried on with life in the midst of a pandemic. We celebrated the births of children and grandchildren. Some members unfortunately lost family members and our “Big Apple” Queens were present to support them. Our chapter strongly holds on to the belief that our “connection” is what makes us strong. We made sure we were with our sisters when they were bereaved, building a community around them in which to find solace in their grief. As a result of pandemic restrictions, we were not able to meet face to face for our annual retreat nor annual Christmas party. We did have a virtual meeting and exchanged gifts. Oh boy, New York Queens are innovative! All members who participated received gifts from their “Secret Santa” and gifts were opened Live on Air during our meeting. It was a fun filled evening and one for the history books. Furthermore, I continue to be in awe of the generosity that reigns in the midst of our chapter members. Despite the challenges of 2021, New York Queens continued their act of generosity for the 3rd year by gifting the entire staff of QRC 50,000fcfa each in December of 2021. What an amazing group of women! As I wind down my last term as your chapter president, I want to take this opportunity to thank each one of you for your love and support, because without you all, there is no New York Chapter. I trust we will continue in this spirit of love, patience, kindness, peace, generosity and fun. Long Live New York Chapter!
