Welcome to Week 15!

After the resounding success of Pawsitive Impact Day, we would like to thank the incredible support from our students and campus staff! We're energized and ready for another week of collaboration and growth. Stay tuned for valuable updates and events in this week's newsletter as we continue to make a difference together!

Yesterday's Pawsitive Impact Day was a roaring success! With 67 students and campus staff joining forces to support our furry friends at the Denton Animal Shelter. Together, we spent the time crafting pet toys to spread joy to our beloved animals in need by creating 206 toys!

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the transfer students who generously donated their shirts and to the students who provided essential supplies for the shelter. None of this would have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the Transfer Center team and support from our Orientation and Transition Programs office, who orchestrated this event flawlessly. Here's to the power of community and compassion! Hope to see y'all make more pawsitive impacts next year!

Transfer Information Session

When: Friday, April 26, 2024

Time: 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM

Where: Business Leadership Building 180

Interested in Supply Chain Management? Join the Transfer Information Session on pursuing a BS in Supply Chain Management at UNT, with concentrations available in Logistics, Operations, and Aviation Logistics. This session will feature an Industry and Academic Panel discussing the future of Supply Chain Management in the DFW area, along with presentations from UNT faculty and admissions officers. There will be a Q&A session to answer your questions.

Complimentary food and drinks will be provided, and the first 100 registrants will receive a free T-shirt. Don't miss this informative event!

Transfer Center Study Session

When: Thursday, May 2, 2024 and Monday, May 6, 2024

Time: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Where: Union 341 (Thursday, May 2, 2024) and Jupiter House (Monday, May 6, 2024)

Get ready for an enriching study session like no other at the Transfer Center! Join us soon for a collaborative study event where fellow transfer students come together to conquer finals season. As we hit the books, let's fuel our minds with coffee and camaraderie, making the journey towards success all the more enjoyable.
