Pawsitive Impact Day

When: Monday, April 22, 2024

Time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Where: Union South Lawn (NEW LOCATION)

We're inviting you to join us at an extraordinary event where your hands can bring joy and comfort to furry friends at the Denton Animal Shelter.

Transfurring Tees into Toys!

The Transfer Center will use the traded in shirts from the Transfer Trade-In shirts from this past year and transfur them into dog and cat toys for the Denton Animal Shelter. It's a perfect way to repurpose the donated shirts and give back to the community. Don't miss out on collecting the 13 different dog and cat stickers!

Stop by the Transfer Center in Union 377 to trade in your old university/college shirt to be repurposed for the animal shelter and get a new UNT shirt for FREE!

Pawsitive Impact Day Donation

When: Monday, March 25 - Monday, April 22, 2024

Time: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Where: Transfer Center, Union 377

In addition to transfurring tees to toys, The Transfer Center will also be collecting donations for the Denton Animal Shelter. Each contribution not only supports the shelter but also enters you into a raffle based on your donation for a chance to win exclusive Transfer Center swag and adorable pet stickers packs. Here’s what the shelter needs most:

Kong Toys & Cat Toys	(3 raffle tickets)
Friskies Pate’ (minced) wet cat food*	(5 raffle tickets)
Purina ONE Cat Chow & Kitten Chow (dry)*	(5 raffle tickets)
Purina One Dry adult dog or puppy food (chicken or lamb)*	(5 raffle tickets)
Pedigree or Purina canned Puppy and Adult dog food*	(5 raffle tickets)
Dog treats (no rawhide, please)	(3 raffle tickets)
Towels, washcloths, and small fleece blankets (gently used welcome)	(2 raffle tickets)
Dawn Dish Soap	(2 raffle tickets)

*5 raffle tickets is the base amount; more tickets will be given out based on the weight of the food item.

Career Center Etiquette Dinner**

When: Thursday, April 18, 2024

Dress code: Professional Attire- Attire can be rented/accessed through the UNT Suit-Closet.

Well, you’re in luck because this event is for you!

Attending the Career Center Etiquette Dinner provides a unique opportunity for professional growth. Participants learn dining etiquette and communication skills while networking with seasoned professionals and career coaches. The event includes table discussions, feedback sessions, and access to exclusive resources on financial readiness. Afterward, attendees can further network while enjoying mocktail samples.

Transfer Information Session

When: Friday, April 26, 2024

Time: 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM

Where: Business Leadership Building 180

Interested in Supply Chain Management? Join the Transfer Information Session on pursuing a BS in Supply Chain Management at UNT, with concentrations available in Logistics, Operations, and Aviation Logistics. This session will feature an Industry and Academic Panel discussing the future of Supply Chain Management in the DFW area, along with presentations from UNT faculty and admissions officers. There will be a Q&A session to answer your questions. Complimentary food and drinks will be provided, and the first 100 registrants will receive a free T-shirt. Don't miss this informative event!

Want to go travelling this summer? The Student Health and Wellness Center (SHWC) offers travel medicine services for students embarking on international travel, whether for a UNT trip or personal reasons.

When scheduling your appointment, please specify your travel destination. Be aware that a follow-up appointment may be necessary.
