Message From the Chair

50 years! Family Medicine Proud!

Thanks to all who attended our faculty retreat last week. We had an excellent turn out, terrific presentations and workshops across a range of topics, and lots of discussion among faculty from all parts of our mission. We also saw the soft launch of our 50th anniversary year-long celebration and the unveiling of our new 50th anniversary logo.

More details to come in the coming months as planning is underway. You can help by joining our planning committee (or sending them ideas); contributing stories about family medicine and community health that we can share with the school and clinical system’s development offices; and by helping us with contact information for student alums who went into family medicine, residency alums, and past faculty (Linda is the keeper of these files if you have contact information).
