Community Spotlight: Faxon Elementary, KCPS
Beginning in February 2012, the CEE and Faxon Elementary will begin a new partnership program.  During a five-week period the CEE staff will work hands-on with Faxon's 21st Century Afterschool Program on Mondays and Thursdays.  This inaugural program will be directed towards students in pre-K and grades 3-6, with the goal being to expose students to economic concepts through meaningful, engaging, and playful activities.
KCPS
Faxon Elementary is located in the city's urban core and strives to ensure a
safe, nurturing environment where all students are respected and valued, become critical thinkers, dedicated learners, and productive members of society.
