General

  • STREET PARKING REMINDERS: Neighbors are reporting that there are more cars parking on the streets these days. While that generally isn’t a problem, we would like to remind everyone about courteous street parking habits. We understand that with our proximity to campus people like to walk or bike to work, and that means they aren’t driving as often, but cars parking on the street should be moved regularly so they don’t look like they are being stored on the street. Additionally, vehicles with expired tags are not allowed to park on the street and must be housed in a garage, as they are considered inoperable. Thank you all for your cooperation.
  • MULCH: There is FREE MULCH in the Community Center parking lot! First come, first served.
  • GOOGLE FIBER: A meeting was held on 4/25 about Google Fiber coming to University Hills. This meeting was not recorded, but the Google Fiber team will be providing a written FAQ that will include the questions from this meeting. The document will be distributed to the community. For questions about Google Fiber, the construction hotline is 877-454-6959. For more information and to sign up for project updates, click google.com/fiber/mybuilding.
  • 2024 NARWHALS SEASON: See important dates, contacts and more here.
  • MAY STORYWALK BOOK: The Boy Who Tried to Shrink His Name, by Sandhya Parappukkaran
  • SEEN RATS? WE NEED YOUR FEEDBACK: ICHA is tracking rodent sightings in University Hills, a new addition to our longstanding integrated pest management program. Email your rodent encounter or sighting to ICHA Community Management at Andrew.Herndon@icha.uci.edu or Kim.Hockings@icha.uci.edu.
