UDC’s inauguration ceremony on March 14 marked the culmination of weeklong activities celebrating the investiture of Maurice D. Edington, Ph.D., as the 10th president of the University of the District of Columbia. UDC celebrated its incredible faculty and staff at the 2024 Faculty and Staff Service Awards on March 11. "The work you do is extraordinarily meaningful--making a profound impact on the lives you touch," Dr. Edington said.

Students, staff, faculty and community members picked up paintbrushes and donned gloves March 12 for a campus beautification program as part of Inauguration Week.
