Last Wednesday, our Nutrition Educator taught our clients how to make Broccoli Salad in our Cooking with CALC Program! The recipe featured ingredients that our clients likely have readily available, such as broccoli, Greek yogurt, mayo, and peanuts.
During the lesson, our Nutrition Educator taught our clients how to create well-balanced meals for their families by teaching them how to portion proteins, carbs, fruits, and veggies. They also understood the importance of making small impactful changes to their eating habits to promote healthier diets.
