Hello, Lindsey!

I hope you are enjoying the mild fall weather as you prepare for the colder months ahead. Now is a great time to start thinking about winterizing your home and garden, and making sure you are ready for winter power outages. Check out "Are You and Your Food Prepared for a Power Outage?" by the USDA for great information that we should all review from time to time.

Giving Tuesday is on November 28 this year. Please consider donating your time or financial resources to support our programs which address important issues such as ensuring a safe, equitable and accessible food system; the impacts of drought and fire on our rural communities; and engaging young people in activities that build resilience, science literacy and leadership skills for the future.

With your support we can invest in our communities to bring practical, trusted answers to residents across the Central Sierra.

Sincerely,

JoLynn Miller
