Wild Women - Monday

The Wild Women's Monday Book Club has been growing and needs a larger meeting space! They will begin meeting at Rockfish Grill, 6333 Camp Bowie on Monday, May 20 at 6:00pm

Tapestry

Tapestry is an authentic community for millennials to seek, serve and socialize. Meeting on he third Wednesday of every month at 7pm in Room 150, this casual group combines faith-based study and discussion, service opportunities and social gatherings.

Gentle Yoga

Mondays, 9:30-10:30

Room 205

A very beginner friendly, slow and strengthening practice guiding you to connect to yourself and your body just as it is through breath, postures, and meditation. You will leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated whether it’s your first class or you are a seasoned practitioner. All levels are welcome! Offered by UCC's Wellness Ministry and led by yoga instructor, Julie Vitek. Each session is $5. Please bring your own mat.

Faithfully Fit Forever

Faithfully Fit Forever is an exercise program that resulted from a number of research studies that showed that simple,

relatively light exercises were very effective in extending quantity and quality of life for older people.

Every class exercises the body, mind and spirit. The body exercises include warm ups, stretching. strength using stretch

bands and weights and balancing skills. The mind part is health tips. The spirit part involves the social aspect and prayer.

The class meets on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:00-12:00 in room 205. All the equipment is supplied, there is no charge

and everyone is welcome.

Come and try us out. I think you will be glad you did.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry knits shawls to be given in gratitude, to those undertaking a new journey in life, to those facing surgery or loss, and to babies at the time of their blessing and dedication. Whether you have never knit before, feel you need a refresher, or knit all the time, anyone interested is encouraged to come! All ages are welcome.
