TKS (The Knowledge Society) is a global human accelerator that focuses on training young people ages 13-17 on how to solve important problems in the world, develop the mindsets required to succeed in an always changing world and learn the hard skills that employers want to see from young people entering the workforce.
TKS alumni have gone on to become the youngest employees at SpaceX, NASA, Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI. They’ve started venture-backed companies (raising over $80M) and spoken on some of the world’s largest stages.
By the end of the 10-month program, students will:
- Have a good understanding of emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, Nanotech, Genomics & Blockchain
- Gain real-world experience by working with organizations like Google, Airbnb, the United Nations, IKEA and Microsoft on some of their most pressing issues
- Develop a portfolio of projects and thought leadership including Master's/PhD level projects in less than a year (no prior experience required, this is what TKS is about!)
- Learn the mindsets, confidence, and problem-solving abilities you'll need to tackle the world's toughest problems
- Be mentored by professionals from McKinsey, Uber, Apple, Stanford, Harvard & more
- Build a community of like-minded friends
- Have the chance to EARN opportunities like speaking on global stages, internships, scholarships, & start-up funding ($100K-$5M)

NOAA Virtual Watershed Education and Training (V-WET) connects students with research occurring along the Gulf Coast in an engaging format to increase environmental literacy and STEM skills. Join us IN PERSON at Texas A&M University Galveston to:

- Experience the program yourself and explore the curriculum package
- Tour campus laboratories featured in the virtual tour
- Use scientific equipment seen in the tours

Each year, a group of innovative middle and high school educators receive training in design thinking so that they can implement Project Invent with their students, building prototypes inspired by real people and creating authentic impact in their communities.Project Invent Fellows have access to opportunities like professional development, access to a network of other disruptive educators, connections to industry professionals, and the opportunity to showcase team projects at our Demo Day X events to earn funding!

Project EDGE (Engagement and Development for Girls through Engineering) is testing and evaluating an Out of School Time (OST) curriculum that integrates engineering activities and social-emotional development for youth with the goal of developing STEM identity and an Engineering Mindset. With the Idea to Pitch Program, students grow their entrepreneurial mindsets and skills as they apply their passions and strengths to identify opportunities to creatively solve problems, develop their solution into a business, and pitch the idea.
