Top Five Online Financial Wellness Resources Available Through iGrad

It’s financial literacy month, and there’s no time like the present to improve your financial capability and achieve financial security and freedom of choice. Wondering where to begin? Here are the top five resources available through iGrad, FAME’s FREE online financial wellness tool, that will help you get started on your financial wellness journey.

1. Create a free account and complete your financial wellness checkup.

Visit FAME’s iGrad site (or Enrich if you’ve finished college) to sign up for a free account. Once you’ve created an account, begin by completing your financial wellness checkup. This brief questionnaire will allow you to unlock recommendations, including suggested courses, tools, and videos, and will personalize the site to address your specific financial goals and challenges. Based on your checkup responses, you can explore new content recommendations and view monthly tasks.

2. Complete the Money Personality tool.

This tool allows you to complete a quick assessment and receive a free analysis of your money personality. Through the tool, you’ll have a better understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of your relationship with money and receive recommendations to learn how to manage your money in a way that makes sense for you. You’ll also learn how your money personality compares with others.

3. Complete a financial wellness course.

In addition to the tools, articles, and videos, you can learn at your own pace through a series of free financial courses. There are over 25 courses available on topics ranging from taxes to insurance, saving and paying for college, retirement, estate planning and much more! There are intermediate and advanced courses that range from 15 to 45 minutes to complete. Each course begins with a personalized course setup and is delivered through video, interactive exercises, and quizzes for immediate feedback. You’ll also receive a personalized action plan and certificate of completion.

4. Reduce your financial stress through money mindfulness.

Most individuals rank financial stress as their number one cause of stress. To help, iGrad and Enrich have created money mindfulness resources to help you find more clarity and lower your financial stress. Through the site, you’ll find five-minute money meditations, financial journaling prompts, and you’ll receive a financial stress score. These tools will help you improve your financial decision-making and allow you to build positive habits and cope with financial challenges.

5. Use the search feature to find the tools you need.

Looking for something specific that we haven’t mentioned? Perhaps you'd like to browse videos or infographics? Whatever you're interested in, iGrad and Enrich offer a robust search feature that allows you to search by topic and content type. You can also save the resources to view later.
