Introducing MyTime: UCSF is deploying a new timekeeping and scheduling system that aims to improve workforce management using advanced technology that is secure, easy to use and mobile friendly. UCSF Health Named 2024 LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality Leader: UCSF Health has once again been named an LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality Leader by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, the educational arm of the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) civil rights organization. The Healthcare Equality Index recognizes inclusive care for LGBTQ+ patients, visitors and employees, and UCSF has been recognized with this award since it was first given in 2007. Learn more »

Extended UC Retirement Assistance Hours: If you’re getting ready to retire in July, the University of California Retirement Administration Service Center has extended its hours. Ultra-Low Freezer Rebate: The UCSF Office of Sustainability is providing a rebate of $10,000 for replacing old inefficient ULT freezers with Energy Star-certified models. This policy is motivated by UCSF’s commitment to ongoing research infrastructure improvements and by a University of California-wide commitment to reduce energy use at each campus location. Modern freezers are up to 25% more space efficient and use only 30% of the energy of older freezers. The rebate is open to all UCSF principal investigators. Take advantage of the rebate »
