It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing away of our 16 year old Sea Hag kitty, Demon Puffball. she was definitely more spicy than sweet but we came to love her after all the years. She was not nice to customers so she spent her last few years of life living with our owners. She will be missed.

SHANDS FISHING FOR KIDS

Great turnout for the Fishing for Kids Tournament! They had 73 boats participate. The tournament raised over $27K! The proceeds from this tournament go to UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. They were able to treat more than 45,000 children last year and are a leading referral system for pediatric patients in the state of Florida and throughout the southeast. UF Health Shands Children's Hospital values your support and the difference it makes in providing research funding, life-saving medical equipment and a wide range of services. We did not have perfect weather but the families who fished the tournament sure did have a wonderful day at the Sea Hag!

We have been privileged to host the Shands Fishing For Kids Fishing Tournament for 19 years. It is one of the most rewarding and well-organized events at Sea Hag Marina! Their directory team is top-notch, and it is always such a fun time seeing all the kids enjoy the event!

Despite the weather, we had so many kids participate in the tournament and come back with fish!

We let the kids fish off the docks after they got back in and some caught little mangrove snappers!

Families hung out on the deck and played some of our new games!

The deck was packed Saturday afternoon!
