CMS sixth graders visit Washington, D.C.

More than one hundred sixth-grade students visited the nation's capital and learned about its rich history and cultural significance. The Carrollton City Schools Education Foundation and its generous donors provided financial assistance to make this trip possible for students who elected to participate. Thank you to the dedicated teachers and staff whose support and hard work helped make this educational experience happen for students! CHS seniors celebrated Educator, Military, and Academic Signing Day


Several Carrollton High School seniors were recognized on May 1 for Educator, Military, and Academic Signing Day. The students celebrated have chosen to be future educators, join the military, or have received significant academic scholarships that cover the majority of tuition and expenses to attend the student's chosen college. Learning and creating in color at CES

Exciting artistic adventures are always on deck at Carrollton Elementary! From sculpting with 3D pens to molding clay and painting, students immersed in creativity this week. The joy of art comes to life every day!

CHS students recognized in Laws of Life Essay Contest

Eighteen Carrollton High School students were recognized in the Georgia Rotary Club Laws of Life Essay Contest. 


The grade and school winner is senior Madelynn Cook. Other grade winners include freshman Julie Patel, sophomore An Ting Ting, and eleventh grader Litzy Valesquez. Honorable mentions are ninth graders Brendan Minh Tran, Casey Mount, Jordin Driggers, and Mia Chapman; 10th graders Abel Akin, and Jacob Preston; 11th graders Allison Batts, Gretchen Ellerbee, Jacob Ricks, and Presley Willis; and 12th graders Drew Johnson, Autumn Martin, Sophia Morales, and Wright Roenigk.

Learning rocks at CUES

Fourth graders at Carrollton Upper Elementary School took an exciting dive into the world of geology, investigating various sediments and rocks. They even had the opportunity to break open minerals and fossils.
