Church-wide workday on May 4

Once again we have an opportunity to come together for fellowship and time of stewardship showing our love for one another and the thanking God for His blessings through the fruits of our labor. Please join us at 9:00am on May 4 for various projects to keep our beautiful church and church grounds shining amongst the trees. There is a list of “to dos” both inside and outside. So bring your yard tools, handyman tools, and able bodies! All ages are invited and welcomed. Direct questions to Chuck Bloser at 501-944-3687.

In Worship this Sunday, May 5

“But that’s not fair!” yelled the workers in Jesus’ parable. They had just found out tat even though they had worked a full day, they were receiving the same wage as those workers who had only put in three hours. “It’s just not fair,” we might echo right along with them. To whom was Jesus telling this parable and what can we take from it that will have any impact on our own understanding of faith and life? Those are the questions we’ll be exploring when we gather for worship on Sunday and hear Rick Hendricks’ sermon on Matthew 20:1-16 titled “PERIOD.”

An order of worship is emailed on Friday so that those watching the livestream at home can worship along with us. Click here for this Sunday's service.

Communion this Sunday, May 5

We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper in worship this Sunday, May 5. Communion is open to anyone of any faith tradition and any age who seeks the presence of Christ. If you are watching the livestreamed service at home, you will need your own Communion elements, such as water, juice, tea, crackers, bread, or chips. Have them ready for the time in the service when we will all celebrate the Lord’s Supper together.

Adult Sunday School schedule

May 5 we will have fellowship and brainstorm for ideas for summer and fall studies.

May 12 and 19 and continuing through the summer: Join us for an enriching Sunday School experience where faith comes alive through shared stories and heartfelt testimonies.  Each week, we invite a member of our congregation to speak candidly about their personal journey with faith—its triumphs, trials, and everything in between. Through their experiences, we explore the complexities of belief, the resilience of the human spirit, and the transformative power of faith in navigating life’s challenges. Together, we learn, grow, and support one another on our individual paths of spiritual discovery. Come be inspired, encouraged, and uplifted as we journey together in faith.
