“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication let your requests be made known to God.” Phil 4:6
Prayer has been a powerful partner for us at Trinity as we called upon the name of the Lord for He answered in mighty ways restoring that which had been taken, that which caused us concern and now God is also bringing us closer to calling our associate pastor. Keep praying prayer warriors!
On Thursday, May 9, I will be going for my foot and ankle surgery. Trinity is blessed with many good and capable leaders and I know that the they will take good care of our ministry; I have every confidence in them. I thank you also for your prayers and and ask that you continue to pray for the surgery to be successful, my healing to be complete, and for patience over what will be a lengthy recovery. I have asked Pastors Eduardo Martinez, Mike Damery, John Glover, and Peter Meier to cover the services. These are all good, solid preachers; I hope you will enjoy hearing their messages. I plan to return to worship June 8 & 9 if I am well enough. During my recovery I will be working remotely but will be available. Should you need to contact me, please reach out to the church office. During this time we will be celebrating Confirmation Sunday, May 19 and holding VPK graduations for the CDC. Thank you Pastor Eduardo.
The Call Committee is working to expedite the call process so that a call can be issued possibly as soon as the end of May. We are making every effort so that if possible I will be able to return following my surgery to meet with any of the candidates and for this congregational meeting. James Gusewelle will update the congregation regarding the call process details. Thank you to our Call Committee they have done a fine job and it has been bathed in much prayer.
I will pray for you, our church and school and for all that is going on. May God bless you. I so appreciate your continued prayer support. I will update you periodically. To God be the glory!
