Celebrating the Rev. Dave Sugeno

Sunday, June 9

ONE worship service at 10 AM

Followed by a Potluck Lunch & Presentation of Gifts

Rev. Dave's last Sunday with us will be a special one. We have simplified our Sunday schedule to allow everyone to make one trip to church for both worship & our celebration of Rev. Dave's 15 years among us as our Priest, Pastor, Leader, & Friend. Let's send Rev. Dave off to retirement with a feast of good food, good words of farewell, and plenty of love.

Parish Life is hosting the Potluck & providing main course, beverages, & dessert. We are all invited to bring a favorite side dish to share.

On June 9th, we are all also invited to bring notes or cards for Rev. Dave. We will have a card station at the Potluck lunch, both a place to gather our cards and a place to write a note on site, if you prefer.

We'll also present Rev. Dave and his family with retirement gifts on behalf of the whole congregation.  The most important gift on June 9, however, will be your presence as we worship with Rev. Dave and send him off with our love, our prayers, and our joyful gratitude

Habitat for Humanity

Please sign up to bring lunches for our local Habitat for Humanity group. They are building several houses and having lunch enables them to get more work done. They need lunch for 15 people to be delivered before noon on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Sandwiches, chips and cookies are great. Address is 709 Downs Drive, Granite Shoals. Please respond to David Waldo at dwaldo19@gmail.com.

 Available dates are 5/18,22,25.

Also 6/1,8,12,15,19,22,26,29.

Welcome, new Daughters of the King!

We rejoice to have four new Daughters admitted to the order on Pentecost Sunday: Suzanne Bigbie, Kim Soechting, Patti Malone, and Karla Ralls. May your lives be richly blessed by your DOK community and by your vows. We are so grateful for the DOK's ministry of prayer, service, & evangelism here at Trinity and in the wider community.

Blessing of the Quilts

A bounty of lovingly crafted quilts were blessed on Pentecost Sunday. Their destination: the Episcopal Church in Navajoland where these quilts are a source of comfort & joy to families. Thank you so much to Debbie Nelson and her team of expert, devoted quilters!

Be inspired by Rev. Dave's sermon which wove together Pentecost and Quilts! LINK

Sunday Adult Education

is on Summer Break!

Sunday Adult Education is taking its usual break for the season. We will return for Inquirer's Class over the summer. Inquirer's Class is for those wanting to learn more about the Episcopal way of life & worship, and also for those seeking to renew their faith through a blessing from the Bishop. If you are interested in being Confirmed or Renewing your Baptismal Vows when the Bishop visits on Sept. 29, please talk with Rev. Claire.

Our final class of the year was a wonderful  15 year retrospective with Dave  Now available on Trinity's YT channel:
