EASTER BEAUTY!

Many thanks to the Altar Guild for all their hard work during Holy Week and Easter. Our church is so beautiful!

Torrington Community Garden (one of Trinity’s outreach

Community Dinner at Camp Washington

Saturday April 6, 2024

Join us at 5pm for a service of beautiful music, inspiring words, and Holy Communion in the language of the Celtic Christian tradition led by the Rev. Tuesday Rupp, and accompanied by Pete Miserendino on guitar - our friends from St Paul's, Woodbury.

Contemporary and contemplative, a beautiful offering to God.

Following worship, join us at 6:15pm for dinner - a time of community, conversation, and wonderful food!

Menu:

Braised Corned Beef

Colcannon

Maple Roasted Carrots

Irish Soda Bread

Irish Coffee

Brownies

Come for worship - stay for dinner, or just come for dinner - your choice. All are welcome!

In lieu of a ticket price for dinner, we welcome your generous donation at the table. All proceeds will go the CW Campership program, offering need-based financial assistance to our campers.

Registration is required. Click here to register.

We recognize that a barrier for attending may be childcare. For our April community dinner, we will be offering childcare during the worship portion of the program. Please let us know if you need childcare by April 3rd.

Gather your family, invite a neighbor and make plans to join us at camp.

SUNDAY APRIL 14

ST. KATERI HOLY HIKE

AT THE JOHN BROWN BIRTH SITE

Join us Sunday April 14 at noon at the John Brown birth site (on John Brown Road) for a 3/4 mile loop around the birth site, or opt for the 1 and 3/4 mile hike by adding the red trail. We will start with a brief introduction to Saint Kateri (the Lily of the Mohawks) followed by a Native American prayer and meditation, and then hike the property.

Saint Kateri and John Brown were both complicated and controversial figures that have much to teach us about equality - we plan to honor them both at this hike.

The trail is flat but lumpy, with boardwalks spanning wet areas. Wear proper boots or hiking shoes, and bring water. Rain will cancel. Friendly leashed dogs are welcome.

Questions? Contact Conrad at conradsank@gmail.com or call Trinity Church at (860) 482-6027.

You can park on John Brown Road, by the birth site.
