ECW to host Road Scholar Luncheon - Friday, November 30th
The Episcopal Church Women will host a group of 35 Road Scholars for a tour of Trinity Church, a piano concert, and a luncheon on Fri., Nov. 30. The event is a fundraiser that supports outreach projects of the ECW. At 10:30 a.m. in the nave, Carolyn Vance Smith will discuss Trinity Church’s architecture and decorative arts. At 11 a.m., also in the nave, Burnley Cook will present a piano concert. Luncheon will be served at 12 noon. All women members of Trinity Church are invited to assist with this project. To do so, email ECW co-presidents Phebe Winters and Cyndy Stevens at gyro102@yahoo.com or cyndy.ntz@gmail.com . Road Scholars are people devoted to educational travel. They hail from coast to coast.

A few years ago, several men gathered on Thursdays in the Parish Hall for fellowship and reflection over a hardy breakfast. Preparing the breakfast was a shared responsibility (as well as kitchen clean-up). There is some talk in reviving this tradition but we need to know if there is an interest. If interested or need details, contact Mike Gemmell at mkgemmell@bellsouth.net or call 601.445.5473; 601.807.2527.
