Daughters of the King Prayer Box
Daughters of the King Trinity Chapter is a national Order of Episcopal Women dedicated to prayer, service, and evangelism. Our ladies pray for many people inside and outside the church on an individual basis and collectively. You can fill out a card in the back of the church and place it in the prayer box near the entry doors asking for private prayer for a person(s) or situations without giving your name (unless you choose to provide it) and without having your request placed on the published church prayer list. Each card is completely confidential and discreetly given to one member of the Order. The prayer cards are never discussed in the group or with anyone else. That one Daughter prays for 30 days for that which is written on the card. We invite you to utilize this prayer box knowing your request is privately received and prayed for in Christ's name. Also, as a reminder, you can call Ann O'Bryant in the Church Office in times of illness for support or be placed on the posted prayer list.
The Daughters of the King meet on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 4 PM in the Parish Hall of Trinity Church. For more information contact Teresa Noland.

Moving-Past-Go - Wednesday Evenings in the Parish Hall
All are welcome to meet in the parish hall after Wednesday evening healing service to be part of a conversation about how we at Trinity Church can more fully live into our calling as Christians by becoming more inviting to our community, more welcoming to those who venture through our doors, and better able to connect newcomers into the life and mission of our parish. A light supper will be provided at 6:15, followed by the workshop session.
The tool we will be using for this conversation with be Mary Foster Parmer’s Invite Welcome Connec t book, and it will be available for purchase in the parish office (and also at online sources). For more information, Contact Ann O’Bryant at the church. Purchase and reading of this book is not required to participate in the series on Wednesday night.

Empty Bowls - Sunday, Feb. 17 - Tickets On Sale Now!
On Sunday, February 17, 2019, an Empty Bowls event will be held at Natchez Pottery to benefit the Natchez Stewpot. Empty Bowls is an international project that aims to fight hunger community by community. The Natchez Stewpot has been serving meals to the needy of our community for over thirty years, and currently serves over two hundred people a day, every day of the year.

Local potters and pottery students have made bowls, “empty bowls,” which will be filled with gumbo and served between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm at Natchez Clay, 101 Clifton Ave Those who purchase a ticket and attend the event will select a handmade bowl and enjoy a simple meal. For those not wanting to stay and eat, take-out containers will be available. The bowl will be yours to keep as a reminder of the empty bowls in our community and the world.

Tickets for the event are $25.00 and are for sale at Natchez Coffee Company.  All proceeds go to the Natchez Stewpot to help feed the hungry in our community.

A Prayer For This Week
We pray for confidence
to share your Word with others
and for the opportunity to proclaim it.
Forgive our reluctance,
our timidity.
We pray for wisdom
to know what should be said
and the moment in which to say it.
Forgive our reticence,
our anxiety.
We pray for knowledge
of the fullness of your Grace
and the willingness to live it.
Forgive our ignorance,
our self-reliance.
Be the centre of all we are
The Light by which we walk
The blessing we bring to others
Through Jesus Christ alone we ask.
Amen
