WELCOME AUGUST

Back in the year 2000, the secret Society of Happy People (yes, that's a real thing) decided to dedicate the whole month of August to the active pursuit of happiness. To observe, one must simply choose to think about happiness and the things that make them happy? (source: mailerlite.com). What makes you happy?

Mark your calendar and plan to attend the following events:

Aug 6 - Dine to Donate at Lopez Legacy

Aug 15 - Pampered Chef Kitchen Party - AL 18

Aug 16 - North Central Florida's 6th Annual Outdoor Expo at World Equestrian Center, Ocala 9 am - 4 pm

Aug 20 - Florida Primary Election - Thank you to all of our members who are participating in our Adopt a Precinct Program, building a community partnership and raising funds in support of our organization's charities. Go Team Joan Wentz and Carol Kalinowski!!

Scroll down for event details.

Thank you for your service and friendship!

LOOKING FOR MILITARY/SERVICE THEMED ORNAMENTS!

TCWV will have an entry at the Annual Festival of Trees, Waterfront Inn, Lake Sumter Landing, in December 2024. In years past it has been a silent auction to raise money for Special Olympics Florida-Sumter County.

If you have a military or service themed ornament you would like to donate, or you find one on your summer travels, please bring it to the TCWV monthly membership meeting. We will have a box at the check in table and collect ornaments up to and including our October meeting.

If you would like, please put your name on the ornament and where/why you bought it. We can provide a "record" to go along with the tree.

Thank you!
