My birthday was Sunday and I returned Sunday at 7 PM from several days away helping to run one of thoe men's retreats I do periodically. 90 people sang "Happy Birthday" to me.

I returned home on Sunday evening to a dinner my teenage son made for me of fresh buffalo mozzarella with tomato, fesh ravioli in meat sauce n with a dessert of chocolate lava cake complete wit the molten lava inside.

DELISH!

Italian Food, Bagels and Barbecue and How It Speaks to Commitment

I am a former New Yorker, raised in The Bronx. I can't say that I experience good food while growing up. My mother's idea of cooking involved boiling frozen vegetables into submission but she made a mean matzoh ball and gefilte fish.
When I moved to Greenwich Village, I started to learn what good Italian food was; after all, it took effort for a restaurant there to screw it up. The local places made sauce from scratch and bought meat from a local butcher or the meat market on the Westside of the Village.

Change is coming!

Next year, my two ezines, "No BS Hiring Advice" and "No B. S. Job Search Adv ice," will be replaced by one ezine-- "No B. S. Coaching Advice."

It will carry hiring advice, job search advice, life and business coaching, all under one banner.

Sometimes, people struggle to play professionally. Work, home life start to feel like drudgery.

Coaching can be a game changer for many professionals by helping support them with an ally who re-frames their "stinkin thinkin" (That's an old Zig Ziglar term" and offers strategies to help them get out of "the box" of their self-limiting beliefs..

I work with people all over the US by phone, Skype and Facetime. If there is someone in your organization (or you, for that matter) who can use support, email me at JeffAltmanCoach@gmail.com.

Working with recruiters too often is neither useful or seem beneficial.

If you would like to experience the difference I can provide, call me at 646.374.8656.

You can see what some of my cllients have said about me. Notice the number of LinkedIn endorsements I have for a few categories of my work.

No B. S. Hiring Advice Radio is a Monday through Friday podcast available in iTunes, Stitcher and other podcast directories.

"Job Search Radio" currently receives between 5000 and 6200 downloads weekly.

One of the nice things about promoting your career page through the show is that the info remains on the web FOREVER attracting job hunters to it.

You can also have a spot on the show monthly to promote individual jobs or a link on the show's home page to your career page, too.

If you want to put information about your firm & your open jobs in front of my audience, call Mary Lou Farrell at 941.379.1440 or email her at MaryLou@webtalkradio.net.
