The Cabot will be holding Community Conversations:
Students as Changemakers: Creating Opportunities to Build a Better Tomorrow, tonight October 18th at 7pm. Come be inspired by the student changemakers in our community and learn how you can support their efforts or spark some change of your own! This event is free but registration is requested. A + B Burgers continues their Behind the Brewer series this week with another local favorite, Shipyard Brewing. Join them from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Wednesday October 19th, the brewer will be on hand to discuss the beer, pairings and answer questions.

The Beverly Public Library will be hosting Introduction to 3D Printing this Wednesday, October 19 from 6:30pm to 8pm. Interested in 3D printing? This class provides instruction on using a MakerBot 3D printer, the use of MakerBot Print software, and using Thingiverse, a platform for 3D designs. Participants will prepare designs in this hands-on instructional workshop for printing at a later date. Join LEAP for Education friends, neighbors, volunteers and team members on Wednesday, October 19th starting at 5pm, at Channel Marker Brewing as they close out a 20-day fundraising campaign in celebration of LEAP's 20th anniversary and look forward to the next 20 years! Swing by briefly or for a while, whether or not you imbibe (there's delicious popcorn!) and consider making a donation to support LEAP's mission of empowering underserved students. Join Kendall from Klayhouse Ceramics for a hand-building workshop hosted by Fennel House Studio on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 6:30 to 8:30pm. Live Music
Los Sugar Kings will be performing at Old Planters Brewing on Friday, October 21 from 7-10pm. Sugar Kings is a Boston-based quartet known for their dynamic live performances, rich harmonies, intense musicianship and ability to transcend genres with an authenticity rarely heard. In their world, respect is paid to the forefathers and traditions of Afro-Cuban Son, Salsa and Rumba-Flamenca but Sugar Kings (named after a Cuban baseball team) also actively draw on influences from nearly every continent in their unique roots-rock-reggae-r&B repertoire.

The Gallerist will be playing at Old Planters Brewing on Saturday October 22 at 7pm. The Gallerist is an original indie/folk rock band from the North Shore, mixing acoustic and electric influences from Wilco to Neil Young, the Avett Brothers to Black Francis.

The ASU crew returns to Fibber McGee's for a night of early New Orleans R&B, rock 'n' roll and boogie woogie soul!! Lisa Marie & All Shook Up with Johnny Juxo & Mickey Bones on Saturday October 22nd from 9:30pm-12am. Come down for tasty eats & a pint or two, no cover charge.

Come to the Larcom Theatre on Saturday, October 22 at 8pm to experience The Joshua Tree. As the nation’s premier tribute to U2, The Joshua Tree pride themselves with their ability to generate a unique musical experience that does not lend itself to impersonations. Without compromising artistic integrity, the band has gone to great lengths to reproduce the distinct sound of one of the world’s most popular rock bands.
