Preparers accused of criminal tax fraud, grand larceny, and filing fraudulent tax returns
The New York State Department of Taxation and Finance today announced charges against seven individual tax preparers in recent months. The charges include criminal tax fraud, grand larceny, offering a false instrument for filing, and forgery.
What New Yorkers Need to Know About COVID-19 Vaccines

New York City is committed to keeping everyone safe and healthy by ensuring that access to COVID-19 vaccines is fair and equitable. COVID-19 vaccines will likely be available for most New Yorkers by mid-2021. Some people, such as health care workers, essential workers who cannot separate from others, and older adults and other people at increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19 can currently get vaccinated.

Apple Impact Accelerator Program

Apple’s Impact Accelerator application is now open for Hispanic/ Latinx-, Black-, and Indigenous (Native American)-owned businesses that provide environmental solutions and services.

The Accelerator is part of Apple’s Racial Equity and Justice Initiative and is a key part of Apple’s strategy to be 100% carbon neutral by 2030. Selected participants will begin The Accelerator program in August 2021.

Applications are due Friday, April 30th at 11:59p.m. PT
