Learning about air quality is fun with Tropo "Care for the Air" Video | |

WILMAPCO, with the Air Quality Partnership of Delaware, is offering a video to instruct children about how the air we breathe affects our health, and how the things we do can impact the air we breathe. Featuring Tropo, our air quality mascot, this fun instructional video is available for use to raise awareness of the importance of air quality.

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) invites you to an Open House for the Old Brandywine Village - Streetscape Improvements, Phase 2 Transportation Alternatives Project (TAP). Tuesday, November 14, 2023, beginning at 4:30 pm
The Village of St. John, 2020 Tatnall Street, Wilmington, DE 19802.
This Open House will focus on proposed pedestrian improvements, signal improvements, and streetscape beautification at:
- Vandever Avenue between Jessup and North Market Streets
- The intersection of Concord Avenue/Vandever Avenue, and North Market Street
- Concord Avenue between North Market and Tatnall Streets

The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) has been in the process of developing the new Maryland Transportation Plan (MTP), Maryland’s long-range transportation plan. The MTP guides the state's vision, corresponding policy, and investment priorities for the next 20 years. DART’s 26th Annual “Stuff The Bus” Thanksgiving Food Drive

DART’s 26th annual “Stuff The Bus” Thanksgiving Food Drive begins on Monday, November 6, and DART is asking for the public’s help in reaching its goal of collecting 20 tons of non-perishable items. The donations assist the Food Bank of Delaware, through its 745 Hunger Relief Partners, in feeding those who suffer from food insecurity throughout the State. This year, the community event is being held over six days at eight locations statewide. DART also encourages the public to donate directly to the Food Bank of Delaware, if they are unable to visit any of the "Stuff The Bus" collection sites. New bike trail south of Wilmington aims to promote community connection and public health | |
As reported by WHYY, "The Commons Boulevard Pathway Bike Trail recently opened to better connect riders with an area of heavy residential and business development...The new pathway connects to the Markell Trail at a tunnel underneath I-295 and runs to the New Castle Corporate Commons...The trail is designed to not only strengthen connections, but also enhance the overall pathway systems in the area." | |
