Kilgore's GoBus announced its new app is live and free to download in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Searchable under the name GoBus Transit, the app helps existing GoBus customers with trip planning, real-time bus tracking, and fare payments. One of the central focuses of the GoBus app for both the agency and riders is flexibility. Plans advancing for OK Passenger Rail Network
As an attorney who often appears in court, Matthew Allen sometimes leaves his Norman home an hour early just to ensure rush hour traffic along Interstate 35 doesn’t delay his appearance at hearings in downtown Oklahoma City. “I can’t be late,” Allen explains. “I’ve never figured out a consistent time to leave Norman and get downtown between 8 and 8:15. EMBARK Offers Free Rides through Available Senior Transit Service
EMBARK is now offering transportation for seniors who are victims of white-collar crimes. The free transportation enables seniors aged 60 and older to manage their own affairs and transportation to and from various locations to work directly with OCPD detectives and staff throughout the lifecycle of a case. The program is coordinated through EMBARK’s Mobility Management Services. Through the OCPD Victim Services program, residents have alternative means to reach destinations needed for their cases.
