National Child Abuse Prevention Month and Daily Dose

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and we are dedicating this month to educating families, educators, and professionals alike on ways they can aid and advocate for families. A collaborative effort of the agency has created a new social media campaign to share our Daily Dose – quick, tangible, and actionable stories filled with tips to address sources of child abuse and neglect.

As our Chief Program Officer, Sharon Skidmore Stern, says, “The best way to mitigate child abuse is to prevent it in the first place.” We hope you stay tuned for the remainder of the month to get your Daily Dose on our social media.
