Trailblazing Women in Leadership Reflect on the Inspiring Women in Their Lives

This International Women’s Day, our four women in leadership reflect on the women in their lives who helped shape them into the leaders they are today. Their stories — raw, spirited, and true — are a tribute to women who are leaders and waymakers in their own right, driven by values of faith, family, and freedom. They inspire us all to authentically lead with truth and love.

Leaders like those spoken about in these short reflections are the very heart of Cornerstones of Care, an organization with a deep history of female leadership and vision that sustains our work to this day. We are grateful for all the women — past and present — who have made an impact on the Cornerstones of Care legacy.

Community Forum Video & Impact Report Now Available

The 2024 Community Forum, delivered as a pre-recorded video, is now available for viewing and features top voices from within the organization. The video takes a special look at the future of our Behavioral Intervention Support Team (BIST) and our Outpatient Counseling programs.

The video coincides with the public sharing of the 2023 Impact Report, which provides a comprehensive look at last year's organization-wide achievements and key people, programs, and projects that made a difference. The report also includes a first look at the vision behind Cornerstones of Care’s five-year strategic plan.

Family Preservation Helps Stabilize Single-Parent Family

“I was angry and upset, and I wasn’t sure where to go from there,” said Megan. “How do we get this family safe and stable if nobody is willing to take them in or help them?”

Fortunately, thanks to a combination of resiliency, persistence, and luck, it wasn’t long before things began looking up for Megan and the Warren family.
