August 2019
Scout Exec's Minute:
O ne of the many, many things I love about Scouting is seeing all the amazing service that Scouting provides to the community. One of our challenges is that we don’t do a great job of telling the story of all our community involvement.

Development Updates:

Now that the school year is getting back into session and Scout units are gearing up for another great year of Scouting please support our Scouts by purchasing meat sticks or candy bars. Better yet, consider placing a box of candy bars at the reception desk of your employer or business with a note to drop $1 into the jar for each candy bar taken.

Picture(s) of the Month:
August was full of Scouting adventures. We combed through all the pictures to choose a few of the best for you. We planed to share 3 but we had a couple of ties...

Reminders:
Let's invite families into Scouting!

Make sure to get your unit's public Facebook page up and running. We will be starting a much stronger marketing/recruitment campaign this fall so we need to make sure everyone has a social media presence. Please make sure to send your link to your public facing Facebook page to Wendy Braham either on Facebook Messenger or wendybraham@hotmail.com so we can add it to the unit contact list on each district page.
