The Town Clerk’s Office will be open on Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 5:00-7:00pm, for the purpose of conducting absentee voting and voter registration. No other town business will be conducted during these extended hours.

Boat Registration Reminder

As we gear up for the upcoming summer boating season, we kindly remind all boat owners to bring along their previous boat registration when visiting the Town Office for re-registration. Your previous registration number is essential for a smooth registration process. Failure to provide this information may result in delays or inability to register your boat. OSHA Proposed Emergency Response Rule

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is proposing a new rule to protect emergency responders, called "Emergency Response".


The proposed new standards would provide updated health and safety protections for firefighters, emergency medical service providers, and technical search and rescuers.

Your adventure begins with a luxury cruise up the coast to the Boothbay Harbor Region. Take time to enjoy local artists and craftsmen, diverse galleries, antiques shops and specialty stores. Stroll and shop through Boothbay Harbor's streets and along the waterfront.


Next, your Downeast Clambake experience begins with a scenic tour of the harbor aboard the Argo, en route to 5 1/2 acre Cabbage Island in Linekin Bay. The succulent feast of Maine lobster and clams with all the fixin's awaits you.

Important Notices for Property Owners & Taxpayers

Lien Notices

The 30-day notices of Lien Claim and Demand for fiscal year 2024 were mailed on May 15, 2024. Full payment of the amount stated on the notice are due by June 15, 2024 to avoid a lien being filed on the property. Liens will be filed in the name of the owner of record for any accounts remaining unpaid as of June 15, 2024.


Tax payments can be mailed to the Casco Town Office, paid in person at the Town Clerk's Office, or paid online using the Online Tax Payment Service.


Please note: Maine PayPort is a third-party payment processor and there is a fee for use of this service. The fee is a minimum of $1.00 or 2.5% of the total payment, whichever is greater.
