Free Rabies Clinic

State Sponsored Clinics are open to all residents.

Saturday, May 4th from 10am-12pm at the Town Hall Firehouse, 100 Washington Street.

REMINDER: 2024 Quarterly Tax Payments Are due May 1st


Payments must be in our office no later than May 10th by 4 pm. Any payments online through our website must be submitted by 11:59 pm 5/10. Any payments placed in the drop box after 4 pm on May 10th will be considered late. Postmarks are not accepted.


Road CLOSURES


Main Street will be closed on Friday, June 7th, 5-9pm for NPP & BMS' Music on Main Event. Closure times are approximate. Please plan for delays.


Beginning Monday, May 13, Boonton Avenue will be closed between Wootton Street and Taylortown Road for approximately eight weeks to facilitate the installation of 10,000 feet of gas main that will impact traffic in the Town of Boonton, Boonton Township and Montville Township. Boonton Ave is a Morris County Road, all communications received from Morris County will be shared via social media, the Town website, and Nixle. Lead Paint Requirements



The deadline for the state-mandated Lead Safe Certification is quickly approaching.

As a reminder, all one and two-family rental units (pre-1978) must have a Lead Safe or Free inspection conducted by an independent contractor no later than July 24, 2024. This is not optional and may result in the issuance of a summons for non-compliance. For more information, please visit the site linked here.



Veteran's Banner Program


The Town of Boonton is thrilled to unveil our latest initiative, the Veteran Banner Program, dedicated to honoring and celebrating the bravery, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of our nation's veterans.

Stay tuned for more updates as we work diligently to bring this program to fruition. Together, let's honor our veterans and ensure their legacies are never forgotten.


Navigating Hope


Morris County's "Navigating Hope" is a mobile outreach initiative designed to provide

social services to help residents in need of assistance.

Navigating Hope is coming to Boonton on May 8th from 3pm-5pm. For more information, follow the link here.

Morris County's new federal Veteran Center Community Access Point (CAP) is scheduled to open on May 2nd at the Morris County Veteran Services Office.

Summer Camp Registration is Open!!

 All camp information, calendar of events and payment information is in the registration info on

Boonton.RecDesk.com   The deadline to register is June 10th at 12 noon.  All registrations need to be paid in full or they will be cancelled.  Please note: RecDesk shuts down registration automatically, so there are No Exceptions! 

  

Paper Shredding Event

May 11th from 9am – 1pm at the Town Hall Parking Lot. Open to Boonton Residents only

 

Walking Club

Informal and casual walking club meets 9am at the Flagpole at Town Hall. We will walk the flats in Boonton for about an hour.  Please, no pets, no children. The event is free but pre-registration is required.  Go to Boonton.RecDesk.com to sign up. 

 

Summer Soccer with Coach Nosal

If you are interested in brushing up on your soccer skills, join this fun and educational camp run by Coach Nosal. Runs 4 days: June 24, 25, 27, 28 (no class June 26)  Boonton.RecDesk.com

Bed Races

Regretfully, the Bed Races have been cancelled due to minimal participation.  Thank you to Johnnie's Tavern and Boonton PBA for their support and sponsorship of this event.  

 

Yoga with Erika Sherger

Payment for classes is through RecDesk only.  Please go to Boonton.RecDesk.com and click on the Yoga Memberships are now available for purchase! The class schedule is Mondays and Wednesdays 6-7 pm at the Senior Center and will be outside weather permitting for the fall.
