TOWN HALL MEETING FOLLOW UP

Thank you to the more than 100 members who attended the Lake of Bays Association Town Hall Meeting on Saturday January 22. If you missed it (or want to see it again) you will find a link to the recorded meeting below--this link will be live for 60 days.

Highlights of the meeting were:

  • Wendy Gibson provided an update on LOBA's activities.
  • Mayor Terry Glover spoke about happenings in the Township of Lake of Bays.
  • Stephanie Mack, Director of Solid Waste Management & Environmental Services for the District Municipality of Muskoka told us about exciting changes coming to Lake of Bays to increase waste diversion.
  • Greg Wilkinson of Safe Quiet Lakes spoke about the 2021 Your Lake, Your Views survey results, with a focus on Lake of Bays.




Thank you to the Federation of Ontario Cottagers' Associations (FOCA) for hosting the meeting.

2022 Budget Discussions

The Council of the Township of Lake of Bays will be discussing the first draft of the 2022 Municipal Budget at the next regularly scheduled meeting to be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. Interested parties are welcome to contact the Clerk to attend the electronic meeting or to submit comments by email or phone at cyskes@lakeofbays.on.ca or 705-635-2272
