Halton Hills: On the Road to Innovation | |
Vision Food Innovations is on a mission to support a more sustainable food system by using upcycled ingredients and reducing its carbon footprint.
An innovative producer of plant-based, vegan, baked treats for the mainstream market, Vision is reducing food waste by using byproducts sourced from other food producers as key ingredients. Vision Food Innovations’ location in Halton Hills’ Georgetown Industrial Area has allowed the company to leverage sector-specific innovation ecosystem partners in the area, including participating in the Circular Opportunity Innovation Launchpad (COIL) initiative based in nearby Guelph. COIL accelerates the growth of new circular economy innovations and businesses across southern Ontario in the food and environment sectors.
