The Bay Minette Municipal Pool Complex includes a large competition-size pool with multiple slides and a diving board. The pool also serves as the home base of the Bay Minette Tiger Sharks Swim Team. The pool is under the direction of the Bay Minette Recreation Department and Daylen DeMint serves as pool manager. She also heads up the Tiger Shark Swim Team with assistance from Luke Aplin and Patrick Fitzgerald.

For many years the pool was privately-owned by the Bay Minette Youth Foundation and the City assumed ownership of the property about 20 years ago. Since that time the property has seen many upgrades – including the construction of the new competition-size pool and assorted amenities. The outparcels have also seen changes. The Complex now includes two basketball courts, Barbara Dobbins Walking Trail, David B. Cox Universal Playground, Eddie Hartner Tennis Complex, Bark Minette Dog Park and the most recent addition – two sand volleyball courts.

Built in 2011, the David B. Cox Universal Playground features typical playground equipment, but with a design that accommodates those with special needs. The play area includes zip slides, climbing walls, various slides, umbrella canopies and Americans with Disabilities Act-approved amenities. It also include double ramps to allow for multiple wheelchairs, and the groundcover is concrete with a padding overlay to make it easier for wheelchairs to maneuver through the park.

The Tennis Complex includes six lighted courts for play. The courts were resurfaced in 2020 and additional upgrades included new benches and the installation of wind screens on all six courts. This project was a joint effort of the City of Bay Minette, Baldwin County High School and Coastal Alabama Community College. Both BCHS and CACC tennis teams practice and play matches on these courts.

Open daylight to dusk, Bark Minette Dog Park  features separate areas for small and large dogs, fun apparatuses, watering stations and benches. The dog park was made possible primarily through donations from private individuals along with city support.

The two sand volleyball courts were added in 2021, funded through a grant from a private citizen and constructed by city staff. Sand volleyball is a rapidly growing sport in the area, with many of high school and college-level athletes taking part during their off season from school play. In additional to recreational uses, the courts serve as the home base for the North Baldwin Storm. The Recreation Department also offers free clinics throughout the year to help introduce the sport to young players.
