Welcome to the Eighth Edition of North Baldwin Chamber's Tourism Tuesday Newsletter! This newsletter highlights North Baldwin's incredible attractions & rich history. We will feature historic buildings & landmarks as well as North Baldwin's parks and events! Be on the lookout for the excitement every 3rd Tuesday of each month!

Halliday Park – home to several baseball fields, a small playground area and a covered pavilion – has been a part of the Bay Minette community for many decades. The park is dedicated to the memory of

Dr. George B. Halliday and his dedication to the advancement of youth baseball in the area. Throughout the years the park has seen thousands of talented players come through on their way to high school, college and even professional teams. The park is home to the current 14-U State Championship Team, as well as many other championship teams throughout the years.

In 2016, the 2,900 square foot concession stand with bathrooms and a six-foot overhang was added to the park!

Halliday Park serves as the home for RIDEYELLOW a charity bike ride, family reunions, outdoor movie nights and so much more.

As of last year, the park is now home of the North Baldwin Chamber's annual Crawfish Cook-Off!

Bay Minette Youth Baseball League oversees the operation of the youth summer and fall leagues and the City of Bay Minette Parks & Grounds Department assists with the maintenance of the facilities and park.

There is a large pavilion at the park which can be rented for special occasions when not in use by the baseball league.
