Guild Annual Meeting and Tool Auction


 Save the Date - Our Annual Business Meeting and Tool Auction will be held in-person this year on Saturday, October 1 at Sanborn Mills Farm in Loudon, NH.


Our featured speaker will be Dale Bergdahl, Professor of Forestry and Emeriti Faculty at the University of Vermont, who will give a presentation on "Character Wood, the Figure in Wood."  And of course, our annual Tool Auction will follow.

Election Notice at Oct 1 Annual Meeting


Standing for Election (1 year terms)

Any member may present himself/herself for nomination by contacting the President prior to the Annual Meeting or present himself/herself from the floor at the Annual Meeting. Elections shall be by majority vote in the affirmative of those present plus those voting by proxy.

Section 1: The BOD shall be the governing body of the Guild. The BOD shall be comprised of nine (9) to thirteen (13) members of whom at least five (5) members must be unrelated.

Section 1: The BOD shall be the governing body of the Guild. The BOD shall be comprised of nine (9) to fifteen (15) members of whom at least five (5) members must be unrelated.


Reason...

The Guild has grown by one third over the past 2+ years. The Board's workload has also increased in recent years as the Guild tackles a wider variety of activities. It is felt that a larger Board is appropriate.
