Have you been feeling overwhelmed, tense, and stressed? You're not alone. Come join Sasanna to learn some new ways of navigating these challenging times with breathing and mindful yogic movements to help boost your mood and aliven the body.
Sasanna will lead you through some activities to help you move through internal conflicts so we can show up for ourselves and others more fully.
From her workshop, you will:
- Learn some effective breathing techniques to regulate your nervous system.
- Practice some gentle yoga poses, some of which you can do even at your desk or office.
- Increase your awareness to better choose a response as opposed to old, habitual reactions.
- Feel better!
To prepare, Sasanna recommends:
- Wear stretchy comfortable clothes
- Sit on a sturdy chair (no wheels)
- Bring water, a yoga mat & note-taking materials
- If you don't have a yoga mat, clear a 6 ft x 3 ft space on the floor. We will be lying down for a portion of the workshop.
